so when i was at bowman a while back...

i apparently did this

i need to check my plugs more often... after i ran that day i didn't drive the car much because i planned to put it under the knife. well i've been driving it to work everyday again and decided to check the plugs on a slow day at work and discovered that. it had to be sometime during that day because i haven't sprayed it since. so since april i have been driving on 7 cylinders hahahahah oops. but hey, i guess running what i ran down a cyl isn't bad.

you should of been pulling plugs at the track. Didn't you say you were untuned?

dkbmxer002 08-27-2009 09:29 PM

it was tuned. i had run forever before without a tune but that was on the smaller shot. and yes, that was my mistake, i will be pulling them from now on.

Pesce Nero 08-27-2009 09:38 PM

for shit and giggles, i would put a wire on that plug to see if it was still firing while driving around

WWhittle 08-27-2009 09:46 PM

Let me guess- TR6?

dkbmxer002 08-27-2009 10:13 PM

nope, bp7efs

minytrker 08-27-2009 11:02 PM

you need to get a REAL "tune" from someone else if your melting plugs on the little nitrous your running.

1998ta__1991rs 08-27-2009 11:23 PM

Tune is fine, it's the limiter on a 250 shot that did it.

BAD BOB 08-28-2009 09:09 AM

dang that thing should be running some 5.90s with a 250 shot

dkbmxer002 08-28-2009 09:49 AM

With stock untouched heads, no big cam, stock cubic inch, single nozzle? The 250 wasn't hitting hard because I was maxing it out.

Matts94Z28 08-28-2009 09:57 AM

Nnnaaawwwwzzz

BAD BOB 08-28-2009 11:24 AM

i'm 99% sure it happened on the on ramp we all met at before we got there. only time it acted funny and after that it acted weird.

if a 250 shot isnt hitting hard something isnt right or your not hitting a 250 shot. every car i have ever shot with anything close to that hit hard as hell. I have shot stock motors in cars and in trucks with that and they hit hard. what are you using a nozzle or plate, wet or dry. hell it shouldnt matter with a 250, it should still hit hard, the plates hit harder imo.
