i put HID's in my truck, and ran them on HIGH, and then, the fog lights would be on if you were in LOW beam.
wife does not like fog lites on, and would not turn them on. i can't remember what kit i had, but it was not a "bulb" with the element positioned to reflect light around the reflector. it just flooooded the headlite housing with light, and none of it was pointed in the right direction, it was just a huge mass of un-aimed light going everywhere. i was blinding everyone, especially 18 wheelers. FWIW, HID takes a few seconds to come on, they have to "strike an arc" like a welder. so even with my set up of either having hte HID's or the Fog's on, you can cover a lot of ground in the dark. the "strike an arc" delay is why you can't run HID as hi/low, it won't cycle like that. most are HID low beam, which stays on constantly, and regular high beam, which your turn off and on. post up a link to your model, i want some that actually work (that don't "jedburg road" you...) |
i picture messaged matt already with them... it says high/low 9007 and 6000k.. i hoose the 6 rtting because it does not give up a shit ton of glare.. they are more driver frienedly and are more for the additional view than colorer
