ohh yea trade would be my vr6 jetta and some cash on top.
|
get it. oh and does it have 1 3/8 or 1 3/4 headers? it would be tough to make that power on small headers
|
only way is custom headers on that swap... i cant reamember the inside diameter. or colector size.
|
i just never heard of anyone building that small of header. if it is that small then have a different set built and make more power

always an option... just nice to have a turn key car like this.. i can do my own things.. fast manifold turbo/supercharger all the big parts are done. as far as aero/body it would get a full paint job and new aero.. and rims.. deffantly a widebody with some meat out back. |
so whats the good word?
it looks liek a do able trade.. what other mods can i do that will allow more power without major mods.? i am a domestic newbie.. ill admit it. 6.0 block? fast manifold? spray? |
larger dia headers, higher ~.600 lift cam same duration, Fast 92.... I would consider a 6.0 block a major mod.

care to explane why a 6.0 is a major mod..? i would deffantly concider a fast 92/92 tb setup me and cam with a domestic is like spanish to me. |
Not that it matters, but the rundown said "MAF no screens". That engine has no MAF.
It's not the cleanest swap I've seen, but those cars are fun with LS swaps. Whatever engine upgrades you do, stick with an aluminum block. Could be a good trade. My only concern would be the integrity of the wiring. That can cause a lot of lost time, money and frustration. Plus, I'd hate to see it burn to the ground the first day you have it. |
that is a tiny cam for a ls1, a 6.0 block wouldnt be that bad of a swap. sounds like a good setup

car has been done for over a year... and driving.. so im ont concerned about wiring.. |
i like the setup the way it is.. not like its got a big body or a ton of weight to move...
ive seen these cars run down z06 with similar whp becasue of power/weight what do u think the 92/92 fast manifold would do? whp wize with listed mods. im sure the cam was chose for street use. im sure their are better options.. |
lots of duration and no lift whatsoever
|
stay aluminum block and unless you plan on spraying alot of NOS then a iron block realy aint needed. my ls1 with gas moves pretty good for having a stock ls1 intake stock heads and a cam and headers. so with what you got now would work pretty well. if its a stock rear i would worry about that the most with a manual trans by they are alot harder on launches than a auto. just get it and start sinking money into it. it will all be ok
|
ahh he backed out.. is getting a trade for a 350z and some cash on top:(
|
building a new motor isn't a major mod?
|

I do it quite often :hysterical: |
