are they different than other vehicles? like take out the bolt from the motor mount to the frame mount and lift/support the motor up and undo some bolts and slide new one in?

From my experience when changing out motor mounts when motor still in vehicle is to have a cherry pick help hold the side up you are working on. As you may need to lift it more alittle at a time as you slide the mount out.

i hope not,

but i asked about valve seals in the 4.6, and they said to pull the heads.

okay, it's as simple as regular mounts....who can i borrow a cherry picker from?

oh my goodness.
basically took 3 days:
-get it up in the air
-figure out HOW to get them out & what tools to buy
-buy tools, get them out, then back in.

WHAT a crazy job, had to remove:
-starter
-one ignition coil
-H pipe
-electric plugs on intake.

had to buy $70 worth of tools.
had to buy all new bolts, because of the angle, i stripped them trying to use 12pt sockets. had to switch to 6 points.

it took until ~2am Wed nite to get it done.
