Progressive Nitrous Controllers

Which progressive nitrous controller do you use or recommend? I have all the components I need to hook up my NX kit. Now all I need is a good controller. There are a lot of options out there and I just want to get the best one. Please give me some input.

DynoTune Time Based Progressive Controller

RaceTested Dial Progressive Controller

Nitrous Direct Cold Fusion Nitrous Controller

Nitrous Express NX FJO Mini Controller

Nitrous Express NX Boost Reference Progressive Controller

NOS TIME BASED PROGRESSIVE CONTROLLER

Wizards of NOS Max Extreme Progressive Controller

Wizards of NOS Mini-Max Progressive Controller

I'm not sure. I've looked at just about every nitrous site lately and haven't seen anything like that. I'm sure you can program some of these controllers to activate the nitrous when the trans shifts into 2nd gear...

Would that work with a NX kit?

http://www.zex.com/Products/NitrousA...uct_Code=82085

says it will work with any system

That looks like a good one. You might want to search it on NLOC or SVTP.

Thats what i thought. instead of it being time based. Its comes on in second. otherwise you have to time it all just right.

I think using a timer is the best way to go. Especially the type that lets you ramp up the nitrous over a certain amount of time.

That's what I'm thinking, but the Zex one posted above does look like a good idea.

Is it pretty easy to set-up and use?

Jeff 06-20-2007 04:59 PM

I went with this one . I know a couple of people who use it locally and they love . Plus you don't need a laptop to change the setting on it .

Schnitz controller

It has a dial for start percentage from 20% - 50% and a dial for ramp in from 0 sec - 8 sec . [/code]

Thanks, but no thanks. For that price I can get a name brand unit from a reputable dealer. Not flaming you, just saying how I feel.

Schnitz is well known in the racing world , but it's your money . I was just pointing to a product that was easy to use . And all the ones you have posted I would go with the NOS time based controller over all the others if you want brand name and most effective .

What's the verdict? I'm probably going to get the FJO.
