very detailed post, but i know how to install them. i am thinking about using a degree wheel to dial in my cams completely. i know i would need adjustable cam gears, but i am not entirely sure how to do the whole process. i was hoping someone on here had went through the process already.

Adjustable cam gears don't stay put, adjustable crank gears eat themselves. Those are two FACTS you will find if you look into adjustable gears on mod motors.

Those are the reason's most go with a custom grind cam and forget about timing them. Well that and it adds .00000000000001 Hp

Ive done it on a v8 chevy. I think I could adapt it over, but I agree. Its a waste of time for most.
