Today's project: Battery disconnect
I wanted to add a battery disconnect to the Mustang since I dont trust some of my wiring on the car ( I have had a car fire before ), and I believe in being safe as possible.
Well here is what I ended up with. I didnt want to drill the tail light but didnt see any good way to do this without it...and its only a Mustang tail light... So http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2...T/IMG_2749.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2...T/IMG_2753.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2...T/IMG_2752.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2...T/IMG_2750.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2...T/IMG_2754.jpg The knob is a small dish piston (for boost) the guy that makes them also can do a Chevy bowtie plate where the rod passes through and flat top and dome pistons...for what ever your engine combo is. Sorry the top pic is blurry, camera lens was foggy from coming from inside the house. |
Nice job. I like the piston for a handle.
