Sup guys & gals

hello eveyone, I'm Dan

I'm in the Charlotte area and drive a 03' Harley. I'm on NHTOC under the same name and on NLOC im Sweathogg. Just saw teh link over here on the local section at NLOC. Very cool site and some nice rides.

Here is a pic of my big heavy slow truck.

Nice truck. i would love to get my wife one.

Nice truck, Dan. Thanks for checking out the site. My wife wishes I had the Harley instead of my Lightning. I like them both, but the addiction to speed and moving less weight makes the Lightning a little easier to get there.

But more room for the family! That is why I would love to get one . Plus for towing.

Welcome to the site ! I've always been quite fond of the harley trucks ! Very nice ride !

SilverBullet 08-27-2007 10:18 PM

thanks but i went a little crazy with mods and the truck really isnt family friendly anymore. Its way too loud and only gets around 8mpg now......rofl

On the bright side it did make mid 650 rwhp / 660 trq @ 15psi all boost on pump gas. Should be good enough to hit low 11's high 10's when it cools off.

 That should definately make up for the extra weight. What is your setup? Engine builder, blower type, ect...? Details, please.

SilverBullet 08-27-2007 10:42 PM

god, where do i start.

Motor was built by a sprint car shop in Moorsville (sorry i cant think of hte name right now). Truck was put together by Dynamics is Charlotte and tuned at Pro Dyno in Fort Mill.

Let me see if i can remember everthing........rofl

Patriot stage III heads
Comp stage III cams
aeromotive fuel system
Kennebell 2.6H / JLP air induction / sct 2800
BTS tranny with PI 2800 stall
Bassani comp full system
and all the supporting stuff, JDM fan, Flouidine etc.

Oh and a full JL audio system ( that will have to be pulled when it goes to the track).

Here is pic of the motor ( sorry for a repost if you seen it on NLOC)

Dan welcome to the site. I was up in Charlotte when I first bought my truck in 03. We all got together at a place which I think was called Dynamics. A nitrous kit was being put on Woody's white lightning. There were a few Harley's. I remember a couple had 2.3 KB's, and one had the navigator front end conversion with a pearl white paint job.

Yea i was there but my truck was black at the time and it had a MP blower (which was the worst blower i ever had). The Nav truck was Brad, 600 at the wheels and doing high 11's on street tires. There are 3 built harleys around here that i know of but a bunch of KB / Whipple on stock motors.

Mike 08-28-2007 12:34 PM

I found a few pictures from that meet. My truck was bone stock, surrounded by some very fast trucks.

i was thinking of another meet at Dynamics, I think at that meet my truck was apart waiting on the new motor.

I remember seeing that white one with the navigator front clip run one time at Rockingham. Was racing one like the front? Are they brothers or something? That is what I *heard*
