$5500 for a 10 year old truck with 220k on it. I know it's a Toyota and all but damn that seems a little high?

04ctd 09-25-2010 07:41 PM

me too, but that's what blue book says.

it drives GOOD. i would buy it for a DD
it has good pep for it's size.

a neighbor stopped by today, i just gave her the keys, and told her to drive it home to her husband.
she was amazed, she said it drove better than her Jeep Cherokee.

gotta figure, a NEW full size truck is pushing $40k+++

so a full size truck, with a V8, and fully optioned, is worth something.
a truck always has value, because you can always make money with it: hauling junk, construction, cutting grass, whatever.

a used car is just....used....
but a truck always has the potential to be used in business by someone.

it will be interesting to see what it brings.

it should be at the "Lemon Lot" at NWS, any one can drive down Red Bank, and it's on the left, about half mile before you get to McD's

you will notice the nice cars :)
