exactly, guy wants to trade even for the Nova.

he's got $4600 in parts/labor in the motor tranny.

I think even with new parts, that truck is not worth alot.

but i do NOT keep up with 4wd prices, and they are different than 4x2 work trucks.

time will tell...

I would think that truck is worth more like 3k tops.

I could see that truck bringing NO MORE than $2200.

It sure is ugly too...

+1 rust on the fender, no grill, worn tires and 60 over?:roll: Could be a good start but not 5k worth.

I'd say $3200 tops as long as he can provide receipts and a SHOP assembled the engine.

yeah, i was thinking this guy was pretty optimistic on what a truck that old was worth, even with 4wd.

i put him on the back burner,
rather keep the Nova, at least it's fun.
