Derek was just telling me about this Saturday. Curious on the cost vs an true 2 post but granted if you are restricted by ceiling height it would still be worth it I guess.

cut out the wiper cowl, that frees up plenty of room! :poke:

nice idea. like said, i wonder the cost benefit since lifts really aren't that expensive.

my garage ceiling is so low, I had to make a groove for the automatic door opener to fit into.

this seems like one of those "got to have it" big $$ items.

that, in reality, is so useless, you end up never using it.

base hobby shop!!

or bring a pizza to MonteC's shop....

They are made for 9 ft ceilings and cost right at $1899

Min pad height is 3 1/2", that kills it for me. Plus, the 6000lb rating isnt what I would want for my truck/suburban.

Cool idea though, I like that you can move it out of the way. Although, most of the people on this site would have a car on it at all times:mrgreen:
