No, I get a lot of people saying I shouldn't run them backwards. I have run my quickest times with them that way.

Nice run! Not bad for a small block on muscle!

Did you know that I put some STP (Stay Together Please) in your C-4 when I built it?:hysterical:

chrisheltra 01-14-2011 08:46 PM

Hope it works. Hope to run a little faster this year. My converter is not to good on motor. Take some weight out and put in bigger pills. Maybe 50's?

and nobody gave you a reason why???:hide: man those pkers:Finger2:.... :?

Has to do with how the tire is made. Cord, fabric, directions they are laid and that fun stuff. For the most part this "direction" deal only matters for the first couple of heat cycles. DOT numbers face towards the left for the direction of the materials to rotate forward (if that makes any sense).

After those first couple of heat cycles in the direction of travel the materials have "seated" in and the tire is less likely to try to "unwrap itself from itself from spinning backwards."

why have you gone faster on bassakwards tires? care to take a stab at it

car looks good nice pass!

If you make a pass with the tread backwards do you go back in time? Is that why it runs faster. :)
