seems like every time i find a good deal on an enclosed trailer, the outside is nasty.

X2 Looks great... I'm sick of cleaning mine to still see the sticker and goo marks. I've thought about loading the pressure washer up with paint thinner and letting the trailer have it before lol... straight tin beotch haha:razz:

My friend did for it so I don't know what it normally cost with labor and everything. I have less in the whole project than retail was on the materials.

He took the stickers off with a propane burner and wiped the glue with charcoal lighter fluid. It was still alot of work but it went faster than I would have thought.

i tried using Carb Cleaner, but by the time i got the black stains off, it was pulling paint.

i am about tired of "restoring" car trailers.

I did a "frame off" on a small trailer few years back, it looks worse now than it did before.

to get the black stripes off get a buffer and a medium cut glaze. comes right off. did that today on a white 28 footer

carb cleaner, gasoline, brake parts cleaner will do that to paint on aluminum
