4.70 race

i will say that there was a big change in the track saturday. when i went thursday night i couldn't get down either lane. yesterday the track worked very well. i never ran the right lane but the left was 100% better than it was thursday. the 4.70 cars were on there numbers first pass. good job fellows. i told candyman i would brag on the track if it worked, so i have to say i am happy to see the track back to it's old form. again good job on making the track better.:bigthumb:

Have you been down that track joe?

Matts94Z28 07-24-2011 01:46 PM

I wouldn't expect it to be like that all the time. I heard they hired a crew from another track to prep for them, but thats cool.

freddy231 07-24-2011 02:08 PM

they changed from lane choice to vht and yes they preped the track early.but it made a big difference in the whole track. have you been down the track matt?

No need to when EVERYONE says the surface is no good (including yourself). Also, I didn't ask if they prepped the track early or not. I stated that they supposedly paid workers from another track to get it right, which leads me to believe the current owners still have to overcome the steep learning curve. Let's not even get into the whole surface degradation that poses an issue as well. I will take the word of a few door slammer drivers over yours, sorry.

my reference was the hearsay part matt. you only believe half of what you see and none of what you hear. i have been running on midway since 1998 and yes it needs repaving but i was tryingto participate in making it better. not talking about something that i heard. have a nice day.
