You can build a "NEW" 64 1/2-66 Mustang!
|
Saw that earlier. Pretty neat.

Vert with Coyote 5.0, T56, IRS, and some big brakes please.
|
priced at $15,000
but finding one in good nick thats a "wheeler dealer" phrase, must be british! same company has been making the Camaro for years, i think the price is comparable: 1969 Camaro Convertible & Coupe* http://corbettsauto.com/1969_camaro_new_body_parts.htm |
More or less like the Shelby kit cars. Makes for a fun build without the restoration. However..that also will be the downfall at the end of the build, it isnt a 64.5. Build it to enjoy it!
|
The Kit cars are far more stuff though than just a shell, and can be had 3k cheaper from Factory Five. The vert would cost more to build. There is no telling where you can find a complete vert top frame and how much it would cost. The other parts are all similar in cost to any other aftermarket parts for those cars.

here's a good price break out:
http://corbettsauto.com/cost_of_a_ca...estoration.htm the small parts would eat you up in costs! |
I didnt read it all. Are they doing fastbacks?
