Window Tint
Looking to go dark dark on the truck. Any one recommend a good local place? I also already have a light tint, what's the best way to remove this stuff?

Very helpful... Lol

I would recommend Palmetto Tint shop on Dorchester by the Harley dealership. Owners name is Bryan and he does great work. Uses good film and backs it very well.
Then there's always GW in S'ville. Can't go wrong with him. |
GW or Pro Tint. Pro Tint will come to you and remove the old tint.
|
Good to know, thanks for help. I know some places only go to state legal tint. Not sure the law in SC, but I was looking for around 10-15%.

Not sure what SC law is (30% if I remember correctly) but I haven't been ticketed for the mustang that has limo on the sides and back with 20 on the front. Well yet at least...

marty with diamond tint

Legal limit is 27%, but you'll get 35% tint, because most manufacturers already tint the windows slightly from the factory (usually 5-8%).
That being said, 35% tint is too light... 20% or darker. +1 for GW... He does a lot of our work vehicles and no complaints. Stay away from PJ on craigslist. |
