However, my original statement was alluding more to the point of this: All things being equal (meaning each car is properly built to withstand 1,000 HP, i.e. the nitrous car has the appropriate cam and supporting mods, which in this case it doesn't) I don't see why a 1,000 HP nitrous car couldn't beat a 1,000 HP turbo car at the same race weight and the same approximate power curve.
