Actually I was shocked when she said that's what she wanted. I do like the retro styling but it has no interior room. I'm 6'2" and my knees are in the dash if I'm driving it which I rarely do. I do keep it waxed and oil changed.
Besides that, she paid cash for it with her own money so I had no say so in the purchase.
The S10 was her's when we met then she traded it straight out for the Monte Carlo SS. I knew about that deal when she drove it home.
Wasn't too upset cause at least I could work on the SS without a computer degree.
But no the wife's cars don't count. Even when guys would ask about the SS, first thing I said was "It's the wife's and I'm a FORD man".
But now all she wants to drive is my Lightning.....
