I ran 28" 10.5/16 Hoosier bias slicks for years on my Lightning. They worked well down to the 11.0 threshold. At that point I needed taller slicks and switched to Hoosier radial slicks. Night and day difference! The radial slick feels so much better at the top end.

The full slick works much better than the QTP DOT rated "almost slick". And I never thought the Goodyear worked as well. Never tried the MT.
