I think the guy made a decent decision. He wasn't going to track the car so he got something he enjoyed more. Of course he doesn't have 505 HP now, but he doesn't want to go to jail either since he doesn't have anywhere to really use it.

I think the guy couldn't handle the power of the car and was scared of it to the point he couldn't enjoy it.
Seats and Radio are things that can be easily upgraded. It didn't seem like the seats bothered him that much until his mommy made a comment about them. He also had only driven the car 3900 miles. There was also a follow up post by him about how it didn't get him the attention he thought it would either.
