to me it sounds like the orfice tube may have a blockage. If that is the case the normal thing that will contaminate it is a compressor coming apart. With it blocked the pressure will be higher than normal bc of the extra restriction. if the fans are coming on i would probably pull that out and see what it looks like. I dont believe many gm dryers will cause and issue like that bc i think they are in the return side of the system.
