Bottom line, If I have a weapon and a large aggressive dog is running at me, I am going to use that weapon, whether it be a bat or a gun. You can choose to chance puncture wounds & torn flesh but I won't.
2 cops apprehending the individual and one addressing the dog. How do the cops know what the guys intent was? He already wasn't listening and that's why he was cuffed, so they should just uncuff him because of his dog? I don't think so.
Moral of the story is don't interject yourself into a situation and act like a possible threat. Unfortunate things like this can happen.
