Yes, cost him a small fortune to do it though, tow was expensive 200 dollar hookup fee plus mileage and they towed it to Williamsburg close to 50 miles away, apparently the troopers had to call in a lot of tow trucks from out of the area to pick up the cars. There was a mandatory 30 day impound so he also got charged for 30 days storage at 50 dollars a day. Ended up costing him around 1700 to get it out, and the front bumper was cracked because the company didn't use a flatbed to tow it so they damaged during the tow, he had to sign a waiver the night of the bust releasing the company from liability for any potential damage to the cobra. The tow company tried to put a mechanics lean on the car while it was there too. Ended up with tickets for the car being lowered, tinted, missing emissions equipment (no cats), speed contest, reckless driving, lost his license for 6 months, and had to get SR 22 insurance, he was running a S14 with a RB26 with a silvia front end and a wide body kit when they got busted. By the time he paid the fines, court cost, impound fees, atourney, the navy got bent him over backward with reduction in rate, half months pay for 2 months, and 45 days restriction (pretty much the equivalent of jail time.) He told me he was out like 8K and that wasn't even going to include the cost of the insurance. A lot of the idiots with the junk rice burners never got their cars back.

Its not smart to roll out with a bunch of cars to go to the spot to run, draws way to much attention that's what camera's are for maybe one or two extra but anything more than that is asking for it.
