Your missing the point. There are no street cars driving around on 28" slicks, only race cars. With the current rules, that makes this a 28" shootout, not a street car shootout.

With the current rules, what works on the track is irregardless in this race. The winner will be wearing slicks.

Its like WWhittle said, you may have some heavy hitters showing up with the rules you currently have. No street car will have a chance.

Not trying to muddy the rules, just clearify them.
