I know very little about this car. My dad's job got transferred so they are building a new home. In the mean time my dad asked me to store/sell his Monte Carlo. It was the last car my grandpa painted before he passed away, so he just kept it in the garage and worked on it when he wanted some quiet time. He's owned it for 13 years. If it makes it a whole year in my back yard he will take it back.
Here a list he made for me:
84 Monte Carlo
350 CID - new rings + bearings, seals + gaskets
10.5 : 1 flat top pistons
mild hydr cam
202 fuely heads (double humpers)
profrom : 750 dual pumper/4 corner spray (purple carb)
intake: holley street dominator hi-rise
headers
ing : accel distributor and wires
trans Turbo 350 manual valve body
rear : yukon(new complete) 3.92 posi gear + axels (brakes new) shoes + drums + hardware
new battery
new fuel line hoses
fuel tank cleaned
That is what I got from his handwriting.
Some things i'd like to note about the car.
Paint is really good, nice straight panels, a ding in the passenger front fender next to hood. looks like buffer burn through on the corn of the hood you can see when its popped open.
no headliner
cracked dash
heater core leaks
no a/c
manual electric fan
What do you guys think is a good starting price and bottom dollar price?
