Couple of things to consider. I was talking to Rich Bogart and he was telling me that that skinnies are typically forged and 1 piece billet where the rears are typically 2 to 3 piece wheels, because the fronts have less material to absorb the entire front weight of the car or truck. The second is alot of the more expensive wheels are SFI certified and are serialized. doesn't mean anything to the racing scene around here but on an NHRA track if you are going fast enough it means everything, and the SFI company charges the wheel manufacturers to approve their wheels and for the serialized stickers..
