so i got a FRPP Alum manual DS, and ordered a AODE/4r70w Yoke (ford PN 1R3Z4841EA)

you are welcome to my steel DS later this week, but the auto Yoke has a rubber dampener on it, and mine is wore out. so you will need a.... 1R3Z4841EA Yoke

Of course they will tell you to bring it in, everything they do is custom. Also you might want to check the fit of your new shaft before getting rid of the old one, because I did a change like that in a foxbody and it fit, but there wasn't enough clearance in the tailshaft and it messed up a bushing, seal, and some other things. Joint and Clutch does good work but unless you are going over 500 plus horsepower, a stocker will probably serve your purpose. They did the custom shaft in my other car, and it was made from DOM (drawn on a mandrel) tubing, and it was about $650.00 for everything yokes and all..
