Try cleaning the throttle body throat right around where the butterfly just about seals off the opening. Take off your air bypass valve and clean it out, too.
Over time, PCV gunk can build up around where the throttle butterfly sits on its hardstop screw. This restriction to minimum idle airflow starts to give rough idle and shutting off problems when you have your A/C on (more air needed to maintain idle speed with the compressor drag).
Make sure your battery is disconnected for about 10 minutes before firing the engine back up after the cleaning regimen. This will erase any adaptive learning the PCM has done in connection with the dirty throttle body. Undetermined results may occur without resetting adaptive memory.
