Plus the swap has more aftermarket parts available to do it cheap.

With a chevy you can use a 350 block as well as a 400 block & everything bolts up.

The cost to build a 415" chevy is half compared to build a 408" windsor.
If costs don't matter the 408-427" windsor is a bad dude. Bill

Anybody out there has a S-10 with a small block for sale PM me. Bill
I agree..... the small block community up here is big and parts are cheap and a dime a dozen. My neighbor sold me the engine and I got the truck for $2500. That already had the cage in it and it rolled. It was the neighbors budy. So they help out alot with it. I just get them the paint they need and help them paint the vehicles from the garage. Its a trade for a trade. They said it was running ok but it should be faster. So we are going to tinker with it and see what happens. Like I said not to much has been invested so I really don't care about what happens to it. Its just fun to do and its rare to do around here. I tried the oval dirt track and completely devoured the camaro on it. Wont do that again unless I am in a tank. They also were putting alot more power out than I was so it was crazy being passed a few times and my body was sore the next day..... from hitting the rail and other cars. A big demo derby is all it was and I lost. The truck is fun though. Get the engine right then I will worry about the appearance. But it is deffinately cheaper than the lightning.... hince the wife doesnt scream anymore when I buy parts for it.
