Try a rescue organization for bullies.

I'm sure you've done your research on their health problems and are prepared for the possibility of your kids losing their dog at a young age?

Best friend's bully died last month out of the blue from an undiagnosed heart condition at 13 months old. His kids are DEVASTATED.

My $0.02, if the animal is for companionship to kids or family, don't go with a breed that could be gone at any moment. It's really hard on kids.

Also, expect to spend some $$$$ for "elective" nasal surgery so it can breath and not sound like a freight train all the time.

my bull mastiff is the BEST dog ever.

lover with kids, big & scary for protection,
mellow & easygoing around house, not nervous & annoying.
eats, sleeps, eats more.

as for EBDs, my buddy paid ~$1000 for one, it got killed by stray dogs ,
and paid $800 next one, it got loose, and ran away.

my bull mastiff stays NEAR his lunch bowl. he don't wanna miss a morsel

I have a bulldog and he does require a little extra care but its not that bad. They are so loving and needy of attention. You dont have to worry about running all over the place, ten minutes of play and he is done for the day.

Wife got a rescue EBD 2 summers ago. Sweet dog but you can forget about being able to hear anything on TV if she is in the same room. Snores 24/7. Other than that she's great.

Why add another monthly bill if you dont have to. Dogs are cool but not cheap.

Just rescue a dog. Mutts are the best dogs you can get.
