Anybody else see this yet? Amazing movie, actually puts the SEALs and our troops in a positive light. Real active duty Navy SEALs are the stars, and a lot of live fire used for the scenes. Real SEAL tactics too, no Hollywood crap. I was so pumped after I saw it lol. I would highly recommend everyone going to see this movie.

Lol would be nice to see a good military flick that doesn't have negative to the military / political agenda. Oh and one that I didn't end up with my eyes crossed after because the tactical acting portion was horrible and inaccurate.
I think the last one I saw with any form of accuracy was Tears of the Sun... Or maybe In Ihe Army Now. (Kidding on the last one).

I asked one of the guys who worked on "Dear John" why the guys collar devices were upside down in one scene, when they had a "military advisor" on set.
he said they shot the flick here, and went back & re-did some of the scenes for more 'drama' (read: soap opera) and they did those scenes back in Cali, without a military advisor. tks for the advice on this moive. have not PAID to go to $$ movie theater in many years, might break out a Benjamin and go see one....

I loved this movie. And you get to see about 30 seconds of my profession when the nerds that drive the submarine pick up the seals.

This was the first time I ever got emotional in a theatre. One of the best movies I've ever seen.
