I've seen at least 30 diesel trucks the last couple days up here in Maryland and in Virginia with big ass stacks. It's a popular thing up here, apparently....

How do the straight up stacks not just fill up with water when it rains?

I've wondered the same thing.....I guess since the turbo sits high it would take water under pressure or lots of water to make it all the way into the engine.....

They do fill up with water. Those stack guys usually keep coffee cans near by to put over them when rain comes.

Or all you need is a little drain hole when it flattens out under the truck for a drain
