Default WTB: marine speakers

Does anybody have any laying around? They don't have to be pretty as they will get muddy.

my boat always just uses stock 6x8's from explorer's at the u-pull. I just yard test them for smooth movement and no cracked surrounds and get them $5 a pop.

use a can of water proofer on the backside of the cone keeps them nice and rigid in moist areas.

the front metal mesh grill keeps most everything off the front. might be a nice cheap idea for an endless supply of cheap speakers...

I will be stopping by best buy to pick up a set. I rather spend the $20 on some marine speakers than all that time and effort to go the "cheaper route". That is just me. I do not want an endless supply of speakers. One time purchase and BAM that is it.

It will help cancel out the shock wave when you punch through the sound barrier.

Try West Marine in Gas Light Square. Rivers and Remount. They have discount marine products.

Where all do you ride? I was thinking about going to Palmetto Motorsports park in a couple of weeks.
