Well, i was going to make this a HeapBlasters blog post but the effin wordpress stuff is not cooperating....



Yesterday I went down to Carolina Dragway with Russ in the goat. long story short... the bitch went fast...













The blue wires are what did it!

I could tell it was a GTO and not Monaroo because the smoke was coming from the tires and not under the hood!

Thanks guys. Thinking of doing a 8.8 swap soon so I can run a sticky tire with a little less worry of breakage. Then we can see what it'll run in Strace Car mode.

Its got an LS2 now and pretty much every bolt on....exhaust, headers, rockers, tune and such.

still laughing at that motor. "you think it will be ok?..... yeaa.. shit lets just put it together and see how it does."
(had some surface rust in one of the cylinders that didnt want to clean up)

if no belt, run is not valid because a street car runs a belt. lol
motor makes awesome power to have had a sub-par surface in one cylinder.

no joke, picked the little bits of trash out of it, cleaned the cylinders, blew it out best we could and that was it. it really is a miracle motor.
