Default Did you have any issues when you ran your PB ET?

I just want to see if anyone experienced any issues when they ran their current personal best ET. I know I sure as hell did. I'm just looking for known issues and not what you thought it might have been. Things like traction, track prep, tuning, etc.... Just list the issues (if any) like this...

- Poor traction
- Poor track prep
- Ultra-Rich A/F (9.XX:1)
- Very low spark advance
- Fuel slosh that caused bogging
- Shift points were set way too low
- Low nitrous bottle pressure
- Generally all around messed up tune

And have you taken any corrective action to remedy these issues? What mods have you done since the PB? Here's what I have done so far...

- Lowered the rear 2"
- Removed helper leafs, shims, passenger side upper shock mount, purge canister system, installed race seat. All for weight reduction.
- Relocated battery to the bed for better weight distribution.
- Installed JDM Drag Springs up front for better lift and weight transfer.
- Installed Whipple 3.4L Supercharger.
- Deleted Catalytic Converters for better exhaust flow in the high RPM's.
- Doing my own tuning now so I'll know for sure everything will be optimum. If not, I can just adjust it.

I was running on worn out slicks (cords showing after last run) and I was chubby.

I've gotten new slicks and lost 25lbs. I should be running 9's now.

Problems
1. I had a lean condition when I turned up the boost
2. Bad traction issus at dorchester
3. Slight miss

Corrective Issues
1. turned down the boost, I have to be happy with slow times.
2. Dorchester has grass starting to grow where the sand pile is, thus preventing it from blowing onto the track.
3. I can't track it down. Seems to be intermitient.

Problem
1. Lack of Traction at track
2. Shift Points a little low

Correction:
1. Roll into throttle until above mentioned solution by Mike with the grass happens.
2. It ran good enough for now, so I'll worry about it later.

A lean condition is usually in the the tune. Daryl, are you trying say he's running rich?

1: no anti roll bar causing tire spin
2: 800psi vs the usual 1200 psi bottle pressure
3: first pass ever on spray... should start tweaking the suspension....
4: pig ass rich.... 42 pound injectors and a cam on stock tune don't work out well....
5: stock tune means stock rev limiter, i have to shift at 5900ish vs the 6800 i will get when tuned...
6: of course the ricer excuse of only one kit
7: didn't get a chance to play with tire pressure
8: low boost, pump gas, street tires, untuned.... wait, sorry went into supra mode due to all the excuses... haha
