Default Suggestions

I kind of want to part my car out, with the exception of the fuel system and motor/trans and sell it as a roller. I'm thinking that I'd get more cash out of it if I sold all the suspension parts separate and then sold the car as a bare bones roller and slap in a 10 bolt


Car has:
-10pt cage
-nasty nate fuel cell
-front DA varishocks
-rear DA viking shocks
-Moser 9" with 35 spline axles and spool
-anti roll bar
-bmr torque arm
-bmr front and rear LCA's
-th400 xmember
-dss loop
-panhard bar
-welded in sfc
-rear battery with cutoff switch
-bmr turbo k member
-griffith radiator
-relocated fuse boxes
-28x10's on convo pros
-SS hood and spoiler
-joint and clutch driveshaft with 1350 ujoints
-ac delete plate
-repinned harness with 411 pcm
-flaming river manual rack and pinion with steering shaft

Other stuff I will sell:
-Eboost 2
-Twin turbo setup
-FIC2000s
-wiring harness/pcm
-hp tuners
-autometer electric fuel pressure gauge
-innovate wideband
-kirkey seats
-belts

I'm sure there's some other stuff in it I'm forgetting. But I bought a FAST xfi 2.0 unit and a boost leash that I was going to install. Rewiring the car would put at a point of no return. I have always thought about getting back into an older car. This would be the time and slap the fast xfi in there and ride out.

These are the cars that I'd love to keep and not get rid of:

1. Chevelle: 66, 68, 70-72

2. Camaro: 67-72

3. Nova: 66-72

4. Malibu: 78-82

I've owned a 72 chevelle that I shouldn't have sold. My uncle who got me into drag racing had a 70.5 split bumper camaro that I saw evolve from a restored car to an all out drag car. My dad had a 67 chevy II that he sold when I was a kid because we needed money for $1500 that had a straight body, 327, and a pg. I remember vaguely my dad getting pulled over and getting a speeding ticket in it with me in the backseat! My grandpas last car before he passed was a 78 malibu and he would drive that thing all over the place!

I'd be happy with any of those, all of them having meaning, but this car I want to keep and pass on to the kiddos. I know the malibu would be the cheapest route. Ideally I'd like to get a roller with the suspension work done, moly cage, and a good rear.

If you're thinking about it just do it. That's how I was with my gn. I wanted a g body for the longest time now I couldn't be happier. It doesent matter what everyone else wants build it for you how you want too.

What i was wondering is when i do this, how should i sell the car and its aftermarket components.

If you have the time, and space to do it imop you'll make more money selling the parts and then possibly the car as a stock roller. Or just part out everything.

That's what I was figuring as well. I'll probably do it sometime next month after we move in and get settled.
