sounds good anything faster than 7.49 or quicker needs 6 points and anthing faster than 6. 49 needs a cage. 11.99 or quicker and the quarter needs atleast 6 pionts and anything faster than 9.99 needs a cage, in less they have changed the rules

This is true, but on the 9.99 and faster you need alot more than a cage. Usually it has to be a certified chassis, but these tracks around here won't care. You should have plenty of work once it gets out, good luck..

Will everythign be custom bent? I have been looking at buying a Southern Outlaw Shop cage with a funny car option (to be added later when I need it). I can get a killer price but dont trust my welding. Wouldnt be my first cage but will be going in by far the fastest car I ever owned.

I had just recently got a tubing bender so i can do the bending myself, heres the thing with buy a custom bent kit the only thing that is bent is the main hoop, and on a cage the haylow and the down bars off the haylow everything else is just stright tubing, so in order to make it look nice and fit around the (arm rest, door handles, and on older cars the window crank) you have to do some bending and mod. there, also on full cages the bars coming from the haylow(spelling?) connecting to the door bars you need to know if you want is threw the dash or in front of it, you buying the kit would help, but still alot of fab. and bending to do, would love to take a look at it and set up a game plan of how you want to run the bars, also at this time i can only do mild steel sorry.. buying a houses, and building a shop, has my funds kinda tight but should be able to get a tig in the soon

there is alot of things that comes into play when putting bars or cages in a car. Interior is a big factor ( headliner, doohandler, seats, carpet,dashes,......ect) there is alot of work that has to be done if you want it to look nice and be done right, also tools and supply (gas, welding wire, cut off wheels, round tubing, square tubing....ect) so this is what i came up with so far

WITH ME SUPPLY THE BARS

6pt
$100 a point
plus the tubbing (kit)
labor and supply putting in the bars in and taking interior out and putting back in
$775

8pt bar (not cage)
$100 a point
plus the tubbing (kit)
labor and supply putting in the bars in and taking interior out and putting back in
$975

10pt cage
$100 a point
plus the tubbing (kit)
labor and supply putting in the bars in and taking interior out and putting back (THREW THE DASH)
$1575

NOT THREW THE DASH
$1475

I hope the pricing is fair. hope to do work for yall. and would love to sit and talk and set up a plan for yall that are wanting to do this upgrade to your rides... THANKS MARCUS
