Default mustang ride height Q?

when you guys lower your car, do you use a drop spindle or is it just a spring change in the front end?

if you plan on more than 2" drop you need CC plates to align it
. example: eibach pro kit(1.5" drop) = no cc plates, eibach sportlines(2") drop = CC plates

Yep. With the Pro-Kit, I ALMOST needed CC plates. The top of the strut is pretty much at the end of what Ford gave us for adjustment. Thank you, Sr., for advising me to not go with the Sportlines.

this post wasnt really about a mustang and i wasnt thinking about the mustang having a totally different susp under the front.

i found out that one of the problems with my front alignment now is that i just lowered the car so much, i have ball joints binding, camber out of wack and bad angles in general, plus its a torsion bar suspension that has no "twist or preload" in the torsion bars now because its so low. making the car a bit unstable driving it on the street.

getting some used drop spindles cheap from a mopar guy. will be able to put some spring in the front, should help the car hook too
