I've got a 4 day weekend from the 11th-14th if anyone wants to get together and go to Bowman. Anyone up for that?

Its not far from bowman. Take 26 to 301 the first orangeburge exit i think. go through orangeburge till you see 4 and you take a right on 4 and its like 5 miles or so on the right.

How is the track as far as prep, shutdown, and organization?

I haven't been there in years I ride by it alot because a buddy of mine lives down the road. They do alot of pro mod races there so its got to be pretty good. Test and tune is friday night and saturday also. Here is there website www.orangeburgdragstripllc.com/index1.htm

I'd say an hour mapquest tells you how long it would take granny to get there

lol, I looked at the pics they had on the site, it looks to be a pretty nice track. Do you know if they post the times or are they like Bowman and Dorchester?

they post times unless N/T is on your car. VERY nice track. Tech is at hand though I think.

I haven't ran it since the track rental. I'm going to wait to go to a 1/4 until I'm somewhere closer. I have to rent a trailer so that's no fun either.
