Default Weight reduction? (Mike)

WMS is now in pre production of a power rack assembly and tubular upper and lower control arms for GenII Lightnings. Our initial predictions are that we can cut 150lbs from the front of the truck by going with both a power rack and tubular control arms that utilize the coilspring.

Our upper control arms will allow for more caster then is currently available with the stockers. More caster not only allows for a tighter turning radius, but it also allows for a more stable track down the 1/4 mile and when your talking speeds approaching 140, you will be thankful for that.

Currently the stock GenII can get, at the most, 4 1/2 degrees of caster, our uppers will allow up to 6 degrees or more.

Also, our power rack assembly will be a bolt on kit. We are going to make it so that the regular guy can do this in his driveway. It will be a heavy duty rack and the control arms will be strong enough for daily drivers. These are not "race only" kits, they are both being designed for strength and race.

Technical drawings will be submitted for patent once the final design is completed for both systems.

If anyone is interested in getting in on this new product, we will take deposits for one or both systems, we will guarantee your deposit.

We will keep everyone up to speed and post pictures and results once the first kit is done and ready for the track/road. Thunderstruck is obviously the first one getting this and we plan to debut it at FFW Richmond in June.

Thanks for your interest, I will try to answer any and all questions.
