Not too bad for a carb'd LT1 with stock GM casting heads. The car has full suspension, th350, 9in and a 5500 converter. This pass was made on a 150 shot, but runs 10.6x on motor.

had to have been an 1/8th mile track they ran those times on. the slips were photoshopped to say 1/4 mile. Or like Jr said it must have had an LS swap.

Just look at the car in the other lane. they were close in the 1/8 but way off in the 1/4. The other car picked up 21 mph wich is normal. They picked up 31 mph. The only way I could see that happening is if the sprayed it right after the 1/8 mile mark, but that cant be either. The ET matches up. The only thing that doesnt is the 1/4 mph. It should be about 132. I dont care either way. Just something I noticed.

carb is the only way to go on one of these motors in my opinion when swapping it into a non factory equipped LSX or LT1 car or s-10. lol

i agree, but with carb you do you own tuning and ease of wiring and such. its just easier in my mind. when mine gets done ray can tune it and i wont have to take it any where but highway 52
