Default 2008 GT500 parts

Met a friend of Snake Plisken's yesterday, and he has a 2008 Shelby Super Snake. He mentioned that he has all of the original GT500 parts, and asked if I knew anyone who needed/wanted some stuff.

Some of the parts he has are the:
Hood
Side Skirts
Wheels
Blower
Suspension

Basically all the stuff that comes off of a GT500 in the SS conversion.

I guess let me or Snake know, if there is anything you are looking for; and we can get a hold of the man with the parts.

BTW, Nice guy... Need to get him on the board, here.

Yep. Thanks for taking care of him Shaun. Why Shelby set the shift light/buzzer at 3800 rpms is beyond me....

Parts have about 3,000 miles on them.

I counted 30 places where it says 'Super Snake" but only 26 where it says 'Shelby'....

I found that the light is adjustable. When Shawn (Sean? Shaun?) and I were talking about it, he figured that is Shelby's way of warning you of the impending tire bill.

Shelby put 275s on the back.

Not enough.

Set. But you can get yours repaired by Mike Fox of Alloy Wheel Repair.

If it is a real Super Snake, the blower you removed from it should be larger then the stock GT500 blower, so some of the Shelby guys should jump on that..

He HAD the conversion done. The leftover parts are just stock GT500 components. The takeoff supercharger is the stock Eaton 2.1l.

Yes the brakes were upgraded but we can't find the Brembos. Either Shelby didn't ship them back or they grew legs and walked off from the shop where they were being stored.
