Gonna wait on my 4S before I mess with 5. It just hasn't been tested enough for me. I usually wait at least two weeks before getting a new update for this very reason.

Can I buy your brick? $20?

got it out of the loop, now it looks like it wants to install, but kicks back with a 3200 error..

everyone is saying its because the server is busy,, why does that matter when im trying to restore my phone?

Wouldn't think it would matter if you are restoring from a file on your PC......don't know.

Good luck, and if you can't fix it, sell me your brick. I'll go up to $30 I guess......lol

when they update... it checks something on the server while you are installing. It's what they used before to prevent jailbreaking and unlocking phones before... I don't remember the details, but I remember reading something about having to trick the server to get an unlockable version...

Try this:

1- shutdown your iphone with the hard reset "home button and power for 10 seconds"
2- connect the usb cable to the pc but NOT to the iphone"
3- open itunes
4- while the iphone is off, press the home button for 5-10 seconds then plus the other end of the white connection cable into the iphone
5- do not remove your finger from the home button
6- itunes will detect it and you can now restore it

everything is running pretty good now.. said part, didn't get to work on the car. oh well..

99% of the people that love Android/Iphones have never owned the other. i've only played with droids myself at stores.. iPhone seem'd more responsive and smoother.. but its been over a year.. gotten any better?

heard good shit about that galaxy S II

Had a 1g iphone, still have a iTouch. My wife was a apple fan for years, loved her 1g. I got her a Droidx last year and she said she woundnt go back. Its just more....awesome. I hate apples OS. Plus, I dropped my phone and cracked it up called Verizon and they sent me a new phone. No sending mine in and waiting for a new one. Also the store peoples can help you there at the store.

My D2 was pretty smooth when I got it but was less animated than the iphone. Gingerbread (no issues to download) made it even smoother and faster and animated.

The only way I would like a iphone is if I JB it. With the droids i've owned, I haven't had to root them or anything and I like them just fine. Also, you have way more phones to choose from. If you want a small compact one or one with a huge screen, the option is there. With iPhones, you get the same one everyone else gets.

I have a 2g iTouch and I like it, and may even upgrade it this year with the latest one. Just b/c apple makes good mp3 players doesn't mean they make good phones.

just my 2 cents.

Never understood why an android or iphone thread always turns into an android vs iphone thread.
