Default Finally some pics of my new DD....

So I found this little gem for a steal down in Atlanta and drove down to pic it up a few weeks ago. I really wanted to wait until June to buy another car, but I couldn't pass up on the deal. The best part was I put my old beater Jeep on Craigslist and sold it in two days for more than I thought I would have! It's an 02 Eddie Bauer, V8 w/ towing package, heated seats, sunroof, two tone leather, everything! After fabbing my own intake for $50 my gas mileage has gone from 15.5-16 around town to 17.5. I tinted the front two windows along with the windshield, and installed some HID's and new fogs.

And the intake....

Nice ride.
We need to set up a match race with the daily drivers. I got 20 on my Tahoe, but I might need a spot since I don't have a K&N.

Nice looking ride Magoo. Kinda looks like Cobra fog light holders in the front.

Looks good Magoo ! Now you got something to tow the beast with !

Also what HID kit did you get for it ? I've been thinking about adding one on the truck since the stock headlights suck balls .

Thanks guys! I think I might have a problem renting a trailer though, I found a few sites online saying Uhaul doesn't rent to Ford Explorers anymore. I hope Budget or one of the other rental places has auto transports for a decent price, I'd hate to have to buy a trailer to just use it 2x a year. But so far I love the truck! It's comfortable as hell, gets pretty good gas mileage, and has decent get up and go. I went with a 5k kit off ebay from a company called HID Sin. It was like $99 shipped and was literally a 5 min install, way easier than the ones on the Cobra. They looked real blue when I first installed them, but after a week or so they've gotten much "whiter". They're bright as hell and really light up the road, much better than the 6k in the Cobra. I might buy some 5k bulb to swap out into the Cobra.

Default Nice Ride

Hey Kevin If You want to save some Money I can get you a low profile Dropped axle trailer for around 2000.00 with slide in ramps and Dual brakes which work well with a lighter tow truck SUV Mitch.

I appreciate it Mitch, but I just can't justify spending the money on a trailer that I' rarely use. I'd rather some a jet ski, 4 wheeler, etc. Something I'd get more use out of than 1-3x a year.

Renting the trailer is easy. Borrow a truck from somebody, pick up the trailer, swap it over to you Exploder and ride the fvck out! Seen this done many times.

GET A 4 WHEELER!!!! Way less expensive and you get to use it ALL year round instead of 4-5 months out of the year!!!! Plus alot more of us have 4wheelers than jetskis for the simple fact that they are MUCH cheaper. 5 dollars worth in gas and you ride all weekend vs. jetski (which i know you couldnt have one unless it was the turbo honda or the supercharged kawasucki) so they are GAS EATERS!!!! Even though they are 4 strokes, and you can fill them up everytime you come in for about the price of ummmm 50 bucks or so, at least that what is costs dales to fill up, cuz premium fuel is required.

Yeah I know, Rubi is actually trying to convince me to buy her a dirtbike now that's she's heard I've been thinking of a 4 wheeler. I just love going on the water and can't afford to buy the boat that I want, much less have anywhere to put it so a jetski was my only option. But you're right I wouldn't be satifisied with some regular watercraft, I'd want something with some enough power to scare me every once in awhile!
