I don't think it will make a difference, because I would buy it the day before or the day after. I won't burn 1 less gallon as a result. It sounds patriotic and all, but in the long run, do you think what you buy at the local gas station will affect the big oil companies? Carpooling, yes. Buy it today or tomorrow, no. Just my worthless opinion.

I answered no. Only because I don't think it will make a difference either way. I doubt I will buy any gas on the 15th anyways.

It depends on when I hit 250 miles on my truck. Gas gauge doesn't work so that's when it gets filled up.

Agree 100%. Maybe if we walked to work for a week or rode a bike or something. Filling up on the 14th instead of the 15th makes no difference. You still burn 18 gallons that week.

The only way to actually hurt the companies is to no longer be dependant on it. Someday that may happen. Not soon I'm afraid.

As long as we keep paying both the good guys and the bad guys so much money for the fuel we need, the situation will not change until we decide to take the oil for ourselves and pay them minimum wages to work at our drilling sites/refineries.

You talking about just taking over the refineries in the middle east? Or the civilians of the US just banding together and taking over. How do plan for this to happen?
