Didn't read very thoroughly, but are you aware or do they mention that for like 800$ they will switch the older blowers over to Liquid cooling too.

It's standard on the 2010 Comaro Kit.

Had no idea I could have it changed over, thanks for posting up. I'm running a 2.4L KB. Thinking about upgrading to a liquid cooled Mammoth or just say the hell with it and go Turbo.

Hhaaaaaa.. U got me..

At the cruise in spot a few weeks ago, a redfire Cobra rolls in with a single Turbo. Sort of had me going.. but what will I do with a turbo in South Dakota?

1. Chase deer
2. High speed runs on country roads
3. Scare Buffalo
4. Go hunting for Turkey's with the turkey blow off valve

I was told the water cooling on the KB is to keep the case from distorting due to heat. and that it does not affect air temps. it was supposed to keep the blower from failing prematurely

2.3 KB's were notorious for locking up from spinning them hard and overheating the rotors. The liquid cooling does little to nothing for air temps though.

Talking with my tuner, I have heard otherwise. He said their was a 20 degree inlet temperature difference on the last one he tuned.

I wouldn't doubt that is can cool the temps to an extent but thats not what prompted the new liquid cooling design. The KB's locking up is what caused them to liquid cool the blowers.

X2. I dont see how it could offer any additional cooling effect because it (coolant) doesnt flow through the rotor case, only the drive gear case.
