headers with full exhaust (blowmasters), high mileage 2004r, msd pro billet dist, fresh heads, efans, street avenger carb, eddy intake, mild cam, 3.73 open rear. High mileage bottom end. Finally threw a rod and broke the cam in several spots.

Was building a vortec headed 400 for it, but just out of high school and had no money. Well honestly I could have gotten it running again with the 400 but it wouldnt have been an economical choice for my financial situation at the time.

Was going to say my 305 was way slower, but mine was stock.
