These kind of vids always suck. When shit hits the fan the camera always goes to feet mode and you never get to see the aftermath.

EDIT: I see you added pics, what kind of wheels are those?

That LS motor didn't want to turn 7k plus RPM with the 5.0. I have never seen one let go and go through the fender though, thats a new one. I threw 2 rods out my 2003 Mach 1, but they only put holes in the block..

My bad. It looked like it threw a rod out and through the shock tower hitting the tire. I'll go to my room now, carry on..

I don't know judging by the beginning of the race, didn't look like the LS motor needed to turn 7K.

All BS aside though the new 5.0 engine is one hell of a motor, stock for stock they will rape a gen 3 LS, takes a full bolt on LS to beat one and that's if the 5.0 is stock. I have seen it in person at the track and on the street with my one of my buddy's rides, bone stock 02 SS M6 got raped by the same 2012 5.0 from a dig and a roll in both places. Ford has something good going on there. Full bolt on 5.0s with drag radials will run upper 11s all day long, that's impressive.

Why would he need to? I had a tire replaced once for the same reason. Had the car for a week and blew out a tire because a pothole.

Anyway, the camaro is at least 10 years older. joking of course

Correction, 5.0 automatic with a cold air, tune and drag radials wil run high 11s all day long in the heat. Not really full bolt on.
