LMAO.... No cage shootout, There are some really stupid people out there if you think a Cage will make your car faster, WTH? I laugh all the time when I hear someone say that,, Im willing to bet that they dont even know what a cage is.... and if you show up with a 4,6,8point ROLL BAR you cant run,

yes there is a differents in a cage and a roll bar

It always amazes me to see some fools throw a nice motor into some piece of crap and leave the line with a car all twisted up because they didn't want to have a cage and anti-roll bar in the car thinking that they are fooling people calling it a street car.

Well my white car has a 6pt in it and even though I put the same amount of miles on it as my "DD"; guess that makes it not a street car. Am I the only one who has heard of a street cage? It doesn't bother me that much to hop over the door bar. The way I have always looked at tech is it there because of a reason and when the setup consistently starts running faster than the spec it is time to start thinking about putting the equip in.

I am not the promoter but my guess would be the no cage rule is meant to keep tube chassis cars out, and let street cars race ( the never ending argument ).
