Never heard of too many people who wanted to do it on the stock C5 mufflers. Most people switch to the titanium Z06 ones and then do it. Harder to find titanium or to weld it but worth it.
Regardless, congrats on the louder noisemaker. PS: I absolutely hated removing the stock mufflers since they didn't break down into parts and thus required a good bit of clearance to rotate underneath.

ya...buddy and I figured its basically a free mod ($7 for pipe)...its barely noticeable at idle...it has just a little more growl under throttle...but standing behind the car under some rpms damn it sounds great...im curious to see how it matches with some long tubes and xpipe
